A few more cards

So its been a bit of a busy week but I have managed to squeeze in time for some little crafting gems! On Thursday I met with my wonderful up-line sarah (see her blog here http://stampinsarahiow.blogspot.co.uk/ ) we also met a couple of other lovely crafting ladies from the Isle of Wight and did a mini shoe box swap. There were some fantastic cards made and I'm yet to get a picture of the ones I made on the day howeve I can now show you all what I designed and made for my make and take of the day.

 


So for this card I used a bit of my precious Designer Series Paper (every cut feels like a piece of myself I just love it so much I don't want to use it, I just want to just look at it all day)

This was the card I was going to do for my shoebox swap but decided otherwise. I am feeling these little cards a lot recently, I suppose its because Im still trying to "feel-out" what I want to make for my own christmas cards still (not much time left now, should really get a move on before baby arrives!)

Lastly for today I have this candy cane card. I felt like something was missing from it but the more I added the less I was happy with it and should have left it alone!

If I attempt again I will leave the piercing and stitching  and leave the door frame effect too.
